Today, Little Kitchen Academy (LKA), the key ingredient for an independent child and the first-of-its-kind, Montessori-inspired cooking academy for kids ages three through teen, announced it will welcome students to its newest location, LKA Edgemont Village,  on March 14th. The much-anticipated location in North Vancouver’s Edgemont Village community is the company’s first on the North Shore and its fourth location to open in the Greater Vancouver Area. Atussa Herovi, a mother of two and local teacher, is opening LKA’s newest location. Registration is now open for Spring Season at LKA Edgemont Village.

“I love being able to teach children practical life skills through cooking and how fun it can be,” said Atussa Herovi, franchise partner for LKA Edgemont Village. “After many months searching for the perfect location and building the environment, I am beyond thrilled to be sharing the gift of Little Kitchen Academy with our students for the first time! I am excited to empower our students in learning new skills, developing confidence in themselves, and becoming independent children! I know that what our students will experience at LKA Edgemont Village will impact families on the North Shore for the better for many years to come.”

I can’t wait for her to share the gift of Little Kitchen Academy with children in her community and start changing lives from scratch in North Vancouver.”

In preparation for her opening, Herovi is seeking passionate, caring individuals to add to her team. “As a teacher, I know how important it is to a child to learn from someone who values and cares for you. We have a great team in place already but are always looking for more people to help us inspire our youth!” Those interested in joining the LKA Edgemont Village team can apply now.

On the heels of opening LKA Panorama Village in Surrey, British Columbia in December 2021, the newest location in North Vancouver marks the first of many openings in 2022 for Little Kitchen Academy, with more to come in both Canada and the USA over the coming months.

Little Kitchen Academy is currently seeking like-minded multi-unit franchisees and development partners based exclusively in Arizona, California, Florida, Illinois, Michigan, North Carolina, Oregon, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin. In Canada, LKA is focused on expanding further into Alberta, select markets in B.C., and Ontario.
