“My kids love Little Kitchen Academy! My twins have been coming for about 6 months since they were 3.5, and I’ve seen them become much more confident both in the kitchen and in other novel situations. The Montessori method they use allows the kids to grow in their independence and do tasks such as measuring, pouring, and mixing by themselves, which is what 3-year-olds all want to do! And then at the end they are excited to share a food they have made themselves. Highly recommend (even for kids who have a difficult time in new situations—they do a nice job with separation).”

“As a certified Montessori educator, practical life skills are a BIG part of my parenting philosophy. SO happy to have found LKA to support me in this journey. My daughter LOVED every second of having her very own cooking station and supplies. I LOVE the application of Montessori principles that I observed like greeting the children at their eye level. Can't say enough good things and can't wait to come back.”

Angelie Sood, LKA Vaughan

“We LOVE LKA! Cooking their own food inspires my nieces (4 & 6) to eat things they would never eat at home, and fosters a sense of independence and confidence. They beg me to go back. Highly recommend the Beaches location!”

“My son loves to go LKA Point Grey. We tried 4 sessions during his spring break. Every morning, he woke up with guessing what he was going to make in LKA today. He came home with food and so proud of himself. And he started to eat veggies. The staff are super nice and friendly. I have signed him for summer camp there too.

”

“My 8 year old granddaughter went to class at LKA Point Grey today and LOVED it! The instructors were so warm and professional, the food she brought home was delicious and she was very proud of the work she had done in class. I was impressed that she was willing to try (and actually enjoyed!) foods she would be reluctant to eat at home. She was smiling from ear to ear when I picked her up. The fact that the classes are three hours long makes me feel like she was really getting some valuable instruction time. Would highly recommend!”

Mary H., LKA Vancouver Point Grey

“My daughter loves attending LKA! She has always had a passion for cooking and the classes/instructors here take her knowledge above and beyond, learning all about the tools and ingredients. It is truly an amazing school!”

Ashley Staffieri, LKA Vaughan

“My 4YO daughter thoroughly enjoyed her class and their customer service was amazing. I had an issue with a booking and Dominique was quick, helpful and went beyond from a customer service standpoint. Sincerely appreciated and we will be booking more classes in the future.”
