New Episode Now Available Featuring LKA Founders Felicity and Brian Curin Celebrating A Year of Honest, Inspiring Conversations with Industry Leaders and LKA Families

Vancouver, BC – June 7, 2023 Today,  Little Kitchen Academy (LKA) the first-of-its-kind Montessori-inspired cooking academy for kids ages 3 through 18, celebrated the one-year anniversary of the launch of their Meet Me In The Kitchen podcast hosted by renowned broadcaster Scott Rintoul. The podcast tells intimate, unexpected stories that explore the common threads of humanity and illuminate what brings people together and has clearly resonated with its audience. In just one year, Meet Me In The Kitchen is already one of the top 10% of podcasts in the US with more than 150,000 downloads from listeners in 90 countries.

Over the past year, the podcast has featured notable names like David Kahan, CEO of BIRKENSTOCK Americas, Iron Chef Cat Cora, and University of British Columbia Land & Food Systems Dean Rickey Yada. It has also featured important conversations with LKA Students, Parents, and Team Members, sharing stories about the impact Little Kitchen Academy has had on them, and the impact they have had on the purpose-driven brand.

“I am humbled by the response we have seen to the podcast so far,” said Felicity Curin, LKA Founder, President, and COO. “When we first discussed creating a podcast, we talked about how it would be meaningful to us if it just reached the people in our network. To see more than 150,000 downloads in a year is so incredible, but even more important to us has been hearing from people who have listened to an episode and had something in it resonate so deeply with them that they felt connected to our purpose and to a community who are committed to changing lives from scratch.”

A new episode was released today featuring LKA Founders Felicity and Brian Curin, the first return guests to the podcast. In it, they discuss how honoured they feel to have created a space for people to feel comfortable sharing their stories.

“I love listening to new episodes because even though we know the people interviewed, we still learn something new every time,” said Brian Curin, CEO, CMO, and Co-Founder. “I am proud of what we have created because ultimately, each episode exemplifies what we are doing at Little Kitchen Academy. Every day, we empower our students to make independent choices, enabling them to change their lives and those around them. The podcast is just an extension of that empowerment bringing the magic, learning, and growth that happens in the kitchen to a larger audience.”

New episodes of Meet Me In The Kitchen are available every other Wednesday on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and the Little Kitchen Academy website
